Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Group, established in the year 1989 in the Indian State of Kerala, renowned as the ‘Land of Ayurveda’ in India, is one of the largest providers of Ayurvedic products and allied herbal products (both traditional and branded proprietary products in the modern forms) as well as Ayurvedic treatment and allied services, through its treatment centres and health retreats, and also Ayurvedic education through its training Centres.

Nagarjuna Herbal Concentrates Ltd., the product manufacturing concern of Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Group, manufactures more than 550 products belonging to traditional Ayurvedic group as well as branded Ayurvedic problem solvers, along with allied herbal health care products, including herbal cosmetics such as herbal bath soaps, herbal face cream, sandal bath soaps, ayurvedic face cream, healthcare brahmi tablets, ayurvedic ashwagandha capsules, organic herbal tea, pain relief drug, herbal hair oils, ayurvedic treatment services, herbal face packs, face creams etc. The manufacturing facilities are ISO and GMP certified and the Quality Control Laboratory and the R&D Centre is approved by various government bodies like DSIR, AYUSH and CPCSEA. The QC Laboratory is approved for testing products on behalf of Govt. of India PLIM, which is a rare distinction.

The products of Nagarjuna are being marketed in about 18 States of India and exported to 20 Countries world wide, spread from USA, across Europe and Asia to Australia. We have been able to improve the quality of the formulated products through our continuous research and development activities. Our Department of Pharmacognosy ensures the genuineness of the raw materials through microscopic and macroscopic methods, also utilising modern technologies like the Chromatography etc. They are further supported by the sophisticated Quality Control that utilises modern equipments like the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) used for testing the heavy metal content. Development of products is carried out by a well established R&D Wing, assisted by the Clinical Research Department that conducts various phases of clinical trails using epidemiological parameters as well. Through all these, we have reached the pinnacle of success by offering 550 plus Ayurvedic healthcare formulations, which were developed and drawn from the scriptures of Ayurvedic exponents as well as through continuous research.

Medicinal plants have wonderful curative and prophylactic uses. We have taken adequate measures in propagating the importance of the cultivation of herbal plants. So far we have distributed 35 Lakhs of herbal saplings covering 100 species to the public during last 8 years. We have also instituted an annual ‘Oushadhamitram’ Award for outstanding farmers involved in herb cultivation.
